EPA to Offer Tips to Help Companies Navigate Chemical Risks

The EPA this week will start unveiling what companies can do to reduce the chances that two hazardous chemicals would harm employees, consumers, and bystanders, the agency’s top chemicals official told Bloomberg Law.

Workplace engineering controls, chemical handling procedures, and administrative actions such as minimizing the number of workers with access to a chemical will be among tips explained at webinars on Wednesday and Sept. 30, Alexandra Dapolito Dunn, the EPA’s assistant administrator for chemical safety and pollution prevention, said Monday in an interview.
