Cloud-Based Document Management Adoption in Law Firms Continues to Rise
NetDocuments, the leader in cloud-based document and email management, announced today that Troy Bartlett will join the company as Director of Technical Services.
Troy brings with him over 20 years of experience in legal document management technology, and will lead the technical services team as they continue building tools and processes to transition firms from legacy systems into NetDocuments’ modern, cloud-based application.
Mr. Bartlett joins NetDocuments amidst rapid company growth fueled by a capital investment from Frontier Capital. As the market shifts to more secure, cloud-based applications like NetDocuments, Troy will be an invaluable resource for a growing customer base. “Troy is widely regarded as one of the industry's foremost experts DMS conversions, and we’ll rely heavily on this expertise in the coming years as the number of firms switching from legacy platforms to NetDocuments increases exponentially,” Matt Duncan, CEO at NetDocuments commented. “Troy was instrumental in leading the transition of many firms to iManage in the early 2000s and will now help us manage the next legal DMS shift to the modern NetDocuments cloud-based platform.”
Most recently at Hildebrandt Baker Robbins (HBR Consulting), Troy focused on the design, implementation, and centralization of the document management infrastructure for some of the largest and most prestigious global law firms, managing hundreds of millions of documents. “I’m thrilled to now be a part of what NetDocuments has been doing in the industry for many years,” Troy Bartlett said. “The company and service is really at the forefront of innovative legal technology, leading the next generation of document and email management.”
In addition to technical consulting and data conversion, Troy has written technology pieces for McGraw-Hill and has contributed to numerous software reviews.
