Five months into the pandemic and its economic side effects, a top Atlanta partner said his Am Law 200 firm isn’t experiencing the kind of payment delays from clients that occurred in the Great Recession.

“You had to beg clients to pay their bills” in 2008 and 2009, he recalled, but this week all he could report was ”a little bit of softness” in April and May collections.
