Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and related economic crash, the majority of corporate legal departments are not planning to dial back spending and expect to continue to use outside counsel just as much as they did before the novel coronavirus outbreak. 

That’s according to a new survey of 130 in-house counsel at a wide variety of companies and industries. The study, which Corporate Counsel affiliate ALM Intelligence and consulting firm Wicker Park Group conducted in June, also reveals the services and practices areas that in-house counsel value the most from their outside firms.
