Corporate legal departments have been dealing with tight budgets since the advent of in-house lawyers. But the coronavirus outbreak has prompted many companies to really pull back on the purse strings, which means in-house leaders have to do more with even less.  

Jessica Nguyen, the first chief legal officer for Seattle-based Lexion, an artificial intelligence-powered contract management startup, touched on the more-with-less nerve in a recent LinkedIn post that generated hundreds of reactions and dozens of comments.
