"We have, like many law firms, spent a substantial amount of time working with clients to get them through the numerous business issues that shutdowns and remote working has created for them. That involves helping them get loans where they’re qualified, labor and employment matters, workforce reductions and other things impacting their cost structures. Our labor and employment and general counseling work have increased substantially. We’re all learning — there are questions that don’t have an easy answer because they haven’t been posed before, but we pride ourselves on being a trusted advisor. They’re getting bombarded with information from so many different sources, and what we really try to do is be that person who can translate all of that into what they need to know."
