Dechert Lawyers Join Global Legal Hackathon Challenge to Address COVID-19 Coronavirus Issues

A team of Dechert lawyers is proud to be collaborating with many law firms and organizations from around the world in the Global Legal Hackathon Challenge, supported by the Financial Times, in an effort to in an effort to find legal solutions to COVID-19-related problems identified by organizations, governments and individuals. The Financial Times and the organizers, Global Legal Hackathon, aim to “unleash the talent and creativity of the world’s legal market to collaboratively innovate solutions to the most pressing legal, regulatory, and civil society challenges posed by the global crisis.” 

The three week challenge, which is taking place in April and May, involves law firms across the globe collaborating to present innovative legal solutions to issues arising from the COVID-19 crisis. Over 1,400 individuals from more than 160 organizations and 60 countries are participating.  Dechert has a team of 18 partners, associates and counsel from across the firm’s practices and locations globally participating in the challenge.
