Google has several different Google Assistant-powered smart speakers and smart displays in its smart home lineup, and right now they're all on sale. The discounts vary with the model you choose, but they're some of the best deals we've seen in a while.

Smart speakers are convenient. You can use them to play music, check the weather, set timers and alarms, and find answers to questions when you're feeling too lazy to look them up on your phone. Like many connected devices, they come with some privacy concerns, though Google addressed many of them last year. Still, it's worth checking out our guide on how to make your smart speaker as private as possible.

Speaker Deals

All of the speakers below feature Google Assistant; the main difference between them is the hardware. We've linked to applicable reviews for the devices mentioned below, but you might also want to check out our Best Smart Speakers buying guide. In short, the sound quality with any of these won't blow you away like a Sonos speaker would, for example, but Google smart speakers are generally more affordable, especially with discounts like these.

Looking for the Google Home Mini? Google's smallest smart speaker was revamped in 2019, and somewhat confusingly, was treated to a name change. In our review, WIRED writer Scott Gilbertson says this version has much better sound than its predecessor, but there's not much else that's new.

Google Home for $49 ($51 off)

Though it was released back in 2016, we still like the Google Home. One of our biggest gripes when it first debuted, as noted in our review, was the lack of intelligent features, but that has since improved. This is an upgrade pick over the Nest Mini, as it has better sound.

Google Nest Hub for $99 ($50 off)

Like the speakers above, the Nest Hub doesn't have a camera, making it an enticing option if you want a smart display that can't peer into your home. Originally called the Google Home Hub, this 7-inch display works best on nightstands, kitchen counters, and other smaller areas. The screen gives you more functionality, from seeing answers from Google Assistant instead of just hearing them to watching YouTube videos.

Google Nest Hub Max 2-Pack for $399 ($60 off)

While not as cheap as the other deals we've mentioned here, if you happen to be in the market for two of Google's biggest smart display devices, this discount is worth checking out. The Nest Hub Max is one of our favorite smart displays and in our review (8/10, WIRED Recommends) writer Matt Jancer says the bigger 10-inch display is useful. The built-in camera gives you a gesture you can use to pause music with a wave of your hand, and it can keep an eye on the home when you're out walking the dog.

If you don't initially see the discount, add two of the devices to your cart, and it should be automatically applied before checkout.
