U.S. cases rose at the slowest pace in three weeks and Texas infections increased for a third day. California reported the most fatalities in one 24-hour period. New York’s hospitalizations were relatively flat, which Governor Andrew Cuomo said “is not great news.”
The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a $484 billion coronavirus aid package with only 5 votes against it, replenishing funding to aid small businesses and provide support for hospitals and virus testing.
