It’s been a surreal tax season.

April 15 normally finds people rushing to get their tax returns completed on time and pay what they owe. Instead, with the tax filing deadline moved to July 15, the focus this week is on, “Where’s my stimulus payment?

The anticipation around the $1,200 payments, which are part of the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, has the hashtag #StimulusCheck trending on Twitter.
