This event will give an overview of where we are on the energy transition. In particular, it will explore the risks and the opportunities faced by developing countries, such as India, China and others from the Global South, and the support they may need to manage the transition. We will also highlight the key role of the international community in securing an equitable transition and help the most vulnerable countries, for example by supporting the development of new technologies, offering technical assistance for regulatory and tax reform, and providing capital.
