Vedder Price is pleased to announce that it is representing Waste Management, Inc. (NYSE: WM) with respect to antitrust and regulatory matters in connection with its agreement under which a subsidiary of Waste Management will acquire all outstanding shares of Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. (NYSE: ADSW) for $33.15 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of $4.9 billion. The acquisition will allow Waste Management to extend its industry-leading service to more customers and communities, offering unparalleled access to differentiated and sustainable services.

The acquisition is expected to close by the first quarter of 2020, pending the approval of shareholders and regulators.

Through its subsidiaries, Waste Management provides collection, transfer, disposal services, and recycling and resource recovery.
