Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. showcased a portfolio of new and recently enhanced solutions for legal professionals at the 2022 American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Annual Meeting and Conference, in Denver last week. New tools include a Dashboard for VitalLaw Law & Regs, Sharepoint integration, Securities Enforcement Analyzer and an Arbitrator and Awards Analyzer.

Here is an overview of the new offerings:

 VitalLaw Laws & Regs Dashboard

The VitalLaw Laws & Regs dashboard  offers a comprehensive U.S. library of  both state and federal statutes and regulations which is updated daily. An important new feature provides researchers with future effective dates of laws and regs.   Users can also view the differences between the current version of a law or regulation and the future version once changes go into effect.  The  “redlining” feature enables lawyers to quickly target the significant of a textual change.  Users can receive updated bills at the state level within 5-7 days and federal bills once the board reviews them.  Search results provide additional contextualized topics which align with search terms.

VitalLaw Law Firm SharePoint Integration

The Law Firm SharePoint Site, expands the functionality of VitalLaw to make content more accessible across the law firm. In addition, by leveraging Single Sign-On (SSO) and new enhancements, knowledge managers and law librarians will be empowered to provide valuable resources to attorneys at their point of need.

Securities Enforcement Analyzer

The Securities Enforcement Analyzer  is not yet launched but was previewed at the conference. This a new tool  provides users with enhanced search filters and advanced statistics on S.E.C. enforcement actions. The Analyzer will be available to customers later this year through VitalLaw and RBSource..

VitalLaw Labor Arbitrator and Awards Analyzer

Wolters Kluwer is addressing a serious research “pain point” — arbitrator intelligence gathering. This new Arbitrator and Awards Analyzer offers researchers and lawyers  tools for collecting intelligence on labor arbitrators.  Users can access a wide range of valuable information on a particular labor arbitrator, including their history, experience, background on their past case decisions. The Arbitrator and Awards Analyzer provides unique insights for the selection of arbitrators and negotiation strategies. This  Analyzer will launch later this year.
