SearchBlox Search and Analytics Platform Now Available as a Cloud Service

SearchBlox Software, Inc., a provider of enterprise search and text analytics solutions based on Apache Lucene, is releasing its search and analytics platform as a cloud service.

SearchBlox aggregates and indexes data in real time for search and analysis as data is added via over 60 data connectors, whether from websites, file systems, social media, email, cloud storage, Salesforce, or other sources.

The new cloud search service allows customers to start small and scale up as required without a large upfront investment.

With Google declaring end of life for the Google Search Appliance (GSA), SearchBlox’s new cloud search service along with its fully-managed GSA Migration services minimizes both risks and costs for current GSA customers looking for a new replacement solution.   

SearchhBlox has hosted and supported the search infrastructure for several clients over the last few years, explained Timo Selvaraj, co-founder and vice president of product management at SearchBlox. This new cloud search service takes that capability to the next level by simplifying the customer effort required to use SearchBlox's search functionality, Selvaraj said.
