Deleting All Fields in a Document
If you want to remove all the fields quickly in a document,
it is easy to do using the Replace feature.
- Press Alt F9 to display all the field codes in the document.
- Click on the Home tab and click on Replace in the Editing group.
- In the Find What box, type ^d (make sure you use a lowercase d). This is the code to indicate "any field."
- Make sure the Replace With box is empty.
Click on Replace All. All the fields are now deleted.
