Dallas lawyer Taj Clayton, chair of the domestic alternative dispute resolution group at Winston & Strawn, joined Kirkland & Ellis on Monday as Big Law firms continue to cherry-pick lawyers from each other in the hot Texas legal markets.
Clayton, who will be a partner in Kirkland’s litigation practice group, said he was attracted to the firm’s “singular and unique platform” that serves the most sophisticated clients. He said he has a national practice that fits well with Kirkland’s litigation team.
