Stinson Welcomes M&A Partner John Willding to Dallas Office, Bolstering Corporate Finance Bench

Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome John Willding to the firm's Dallas office. Willding joins as a partner in the firm's Corporate Finance Practice Division.

Willding is a seasoned corporate and securities attorney with over two decades of experience negotiating mergers and acquisitions for buyers and sellers and assisting middle-market business owners with the establishment and operation of private investment funds. He has significant experience advising boards of directors on corporate governance and fiduciary duties and ensuring compliance for investment advisors, regularly assisting them with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and state-level registrations.

"John's impressive background and wide-ranging experience in M&A, private equity and investment advising, venture capital and joint ventures will significantly strengthen and enhance our client offerings," Stinson Corporate Finance Practice Division Chair Jack Bowling said. Willding also has significant experience in private equity and venture capital investments, regularly advising entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in equity incentive plans, investment agreements and capital investment structuring. He also regularly advises real estate developers and their capital partners in the negotiation of joint venture agreements.

Prior to joining Stinson, Willding was a partner at an AmLaw 200 firm and served as co-chair of the firm's EB-5 Immigrant Investor Services Practice.
