Brendan Dunn, policy adviser to the Senate majority leader, has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP as a partner in its public law and policy practice.
Dunn, who worked for Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for five years, served as the point person for Senate Republican leadership during the negotiations for the 2017 tax act, according to a May 21 press release. He will likely begin his new role May 24.
