Kim Kardashian’s $355 Bathroom Vanity Set Is Brutalist Muji

Kim Kardashian, who’s made a killing selling shapewear and $575 skin-care kits, is now extending her monochromatic empire to home goods. Come October 6, she’ll offer a concrete vanity set from her brand SKKN. “I love concrete and gray tones, it feels really Zen to me,” Kardashian tells Architectural Digest. “The material and monochromatic design are important for my mental wellness.” If you have $355 to spare, you, too, can buy into the healing potential of Kardashian koncrete.

The contoured silhouettes — ranging from a rectangular tray to a spherical container and squarish canisters — are inspired by her cosmetics packaging and, surely, the smoothing effect of her shapewear. Most of it just looks like brutalist Muji. Similar concrete sets can be had for less from Food52, Restoration Hardware, and even Vincent Van Duysen, one of the Belgian architects who designed Kardashian’s Calabasas house. In 2020, Kardashian trademarked KKW Home, so this is probably just the beginning of her ventures into home décor.
