PineBridge Investments is moving its global headquarters from 399 Park Ave. later this year for EQ Office’s Park Avenue Tower (65 E. 55th St.). The firm signed for 57,333 square feet on the entire fifth, sixth and seventh floors.
The global asset management firm’s exit from 399 Park Ave. was tricky because it still had some time left on its lease. A Savills Studley team’s effort to relocate PineBridge led to another firm at 399 Park, Moelis & Co., being able to expand into PineBridge’s space “via a multi-party, phased, lease surrender,” said Savills’ David Goldstein — sparing PineBridge the trouble of having to sublease its floors in the building.
PineBridge was repped by Savills Studley’s Goldstein, Mitchell Steir, Matthew Barlow and Nicholas Farmakis. EQ Office was repped i-house by Scott Silverstein and by Newmark Knight Frank’s Brian Waterman, Jared Horowitz, Ben Shapiro, Brent Ozarowski and Lance Korman.
