Kirsten Dunst scores $4.4M for Soho penthouse

Actress Kirsten Dunst has sold her Manhattan penthouse in a celeb-friendly building for $4.42 million, according to city property records.

The news was first reported by the Observer.

Dunst, who won her first Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in “Hidden Figures,” bought the unit, at 477 Washington St. — on the southwestern edge of Soho — for $3.09 million in 2007 and had originally listed it in February of last year for $5 million. The building is also known by its less fancy address, 533 Canal St.

The two-bedroom loft was gut renovated. It comes with a private elevator landing, original details like arched windows and exposed brick, and includes 11-foot ceilings. There’s also a chef’s kitchen and a master suite with a spa-like bathroom.

Oscar-winning pals and ex-brothers in law Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix, listed their unit at the building last year, though it appears the home was pulled off the market in July without selling. The building is also where R.E.M’s Michael Stipe and director Gus Van Sant once lived.

The Observer notes it’s not clear when Dunst actually lived here; she listed it for rent in 2014 for $12,500 per month.

Jared Seligman and Evan Danzig, formerly with Douglas Elliman and now with Stribling, shared this listing.

Corcoran broker Laura Weinkam repped the buyer.
