Fyre Festival organizer’s old digs on sale for $7.5M

The apartment being rented by Fyre Festival co-founder Billy McFarland is up for sale.

McFarland, who has reportedly moved back in with his parents, was renting the luxury Meatpacking District penthouse at 345 W. 14th St. for a whopping $25,000 a month up until his arrest on fraud charges in June.

He is currently out on $300,000 bail. The 2,106-square-foot, three-bedroom, 2½-bath condo is going for $7.5 million and features a 236-square-foot landscaped private terrace, a wet room and a large walk-in closet.

Listing agent Christopher Riccio told the Wall Street Journal that McFarland “has been a great tenant.” He must have learned his lesson.

In 2015, McFarland was sued for trashing a $13,000 West Village rental that he used to hold parties for members of his troubled company Magnises, which offers perks to cardholders. The suit claimed McFarland held “blowout parties” and “maliciously vandalized” the space, causing more than $62,000 in damages.
