Issa’s ‘Insecure’ apartment is real — here’s what it costs

Issa Rae isn’t the only star of HBO’s buzzy “Insecure.”

Rae’s on-screen Los Angeles rental complex — a tan-and sage-colored development named the Dunes — also appears in a number of scenes in the show.

It’s where she lives, fights and makes up with now-ex-boyfriend Lawrence (Jay Ellis) until he packs his bags and moves out at the end of the first season. It’s also where she hosts a party for friends, until some neighbors — members of the Bloods gang — arrive and promptly start a fire in her garbage can.

These scenes are fictional, but the real estate isn’t. Now, fans of the show can grab a home there — and hopefully live with drama-free leases.

The Dunes — a two-story, 52-unit development that was built in 1961 — has recently added a handful of units to the rental market, according to documents spotted by The Post. The building is located at 709 N. Inglewood Ave. in Inglewood, an enclave southwest of Downtown LA (and home to the iconic Randy’s Donuts).

There are a total of six units for rent. The least expensive, a 560-square-foot one-bedroom that’s available on Aug. 31, asks $1,345 per month. The priciest is a 690-square-foot two-bedroom, listed for $1,745 per month. Rae’s character’s unit is not on the market.

Five of the six apartments come with parking, and all six tout large closets. A sign posted out front of the Dunes says the units come newly renovated.

In terms of amenities, this gated complex features a pool (shown on the show in B-roll shots), laundry facilities and nice landscaping.
