Bill de Blasio says Rudy Giuliani should be locked up for his Ukraine dealings

Mayor Bill de Blasio said his predecessor, Rudy Giuliani, should be locked up for his dealings with Ukraine on behalf of President Trump.

“Should Giuliani go to jail for his involvement in this Ukraine thing?” the mayor was asked by Hot 97’s Ebro Darden on Friday morning.

“I have felt for decades that Rudy Giuliani was, is a divisive human being and caused a lot of pain and a lot of harm, but if you’re asking about this now as a matter of law, it sure looks that way,” de Blasio said.

“I mean, he deserves a trial like anyone else,” de Blasio allowed, before continuing his rant against Giuliani.

“Some people are like, ‘Wow, Rudy suddenly went crazy.’ I’m like, ‘Now wait a minute, Rudy has been doing overtly divisive, racist things for decades.’

“So I don’t think this is like sudden behavior, it just might be the most overtly criminal behavior,” de Blasio said.

Giuliani is the subject of a federal probe into whether he broke lobbying laws in his efforts to dig up dirt on Hunter Biden, according to a New York Times report.
