Donald Trump Jr. rips into de Blasio’s expected presidential bid

Donald Trump Jr. blasted Mayor Bill de Blasio’s expected presidential run as a “PR stunt” that’s “going nowhere.”

Trump laid into the New York mayor Wednesday on Twitter, writing, “Rather than do a PR stunt ‘run’ for President (we all know it’s going nowhere) maybe @NYCMayor should clean up his backyard first.”

The president’s son attached a video that he said was recorded this morning in the city, showing mounds of garbage and debris lining a sidewalk adjacent to a park.

“This video from this morning should tell you all you need to know about his ‘leadership.’ What a clown show!!” the tweet continued.

The refuse appears to be the remnants of a tent city erected by eager teens camped out along Central Park in advance of this morning’s free concert featuring BTS, a wildly popular Korean boy band.

De Blasio will appear Thursday morning on “Good Morning America” where he’s expected to officially announce his White House bid.
