New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has decided to take action against a local photographer who allegedly pocketed thousands of dollars from the parents of Niskayuna baseball and softball players.

According to the Times Union:

"Big League Pics allegedly collected thousands of dollars from parents for a variety of photography packages ranging in price from about $18 to $49.

The lawsuit, filed in state Supreme Court in Albany, seeks restitution, as well as a permanent injunction against Dungan from engaging in the photography business within New York until he files a $25,000 performance bond."

I remember my own photos back when I played Babe Ruth in the Colonie and I remember my daughters photos for the Latham Lassies (which I still have multiple sizes and copies of).

Those were two of the proudest days of my life. I can't even imagine the hurt and loss those parents and kids are feeling.

Think about it, the kids practice and play while the parents transport, pay and help out. It's a lasting memory of bonding and why we pay so much for the photo packages. If Dungan has lost or for whatever reason doesn't have those photos anymore there's no way to recreate them.
