Mayor de Blasio called off a Town Hall appearance on the Upper East Side scheduled for Thursday evening after coming down with the flu, city officials said.
Hizzoner also canceled a planned appearance on WNYC’s Brian Lehrer show that was slated for Friday morning.
City Hall spokesman Eric Phillips said de Blasio got sick despite having gotten a flu shot this year.
