Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was denounced again on Thursday after bullying a fellow colleague in Congress.

Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL), whose daughter is transgender, inspired the Congresswoman to put a trans pride flag outside of her office, which sits across the hall from Greene. Not only did Greene put a poster saying there are only "two genders" on the wall outside the building, she also did her own personal Twitter attack against Newman's daughter.

Speaking to MSNBC on Thursday, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) explained that while Greene's cruelty is sad, she's representative of a larger Republican Party.

Host Nicolle Wallace noted that 206 Republicans voted against the Equality Act.

"You know, can I just tell you, so, I have been with my husband for 28 years, 22 of those before we were married," said Maloney. "We've raised three children during that nearly three decades. I was thinking about my family when I spoke on the floor today, when I presided for the second time over the passage of the Equality Act. Two years ago, when we did this, eight Republicans supported it. Today, it was three. They're going the wrong way. And that's just another indication that while America, by broad super majorities, thinks it's wrong to fire LGBT people just because of who we are or who we love, it's not even controversial among most people in America right now. here in Washington, in that Republican caucus, only three -- only three out of more than 200 would support equality for LGBT Americans so I hope people understand this is a caucus that is dangerously out of step with where the American people are on this, the pandemic, and other things."
