De Blasio’s new PAC starts taking donations in New York

Mayor Bill de Blasio has opened up the New York arm of his federal political action committee — and it’s already tapping familiar faces and deep-pocketed donors for cash.

The NY Fairness PAC has taken in $15,000 since Aug. 5, when Gold Bullion International CEO Steven Feldman contributed the first $2,500.

Feldman, formerly of Goldman Sachs, and his wife hosted multiple fundraisers for de Blasio’s mayoral run in 2013.

Real Estate bigwig Daniel Brodsky and prominent Democratic donor and businessman Dennis Mehiel — along with his wife, Karen — each chipped in $2,500.

Suzanne and Scott Nash, self-described “progressive” owners of an organic market in Maryland, also gave $2,500 each, the filings show.

The filing listed just $98.75 in expenses, for credit card processing fees.

The NY Fairness PAC was registered to a Brooklyn address by former Deputy Mayor Richard Buery — who’s serving as treasurer of de Blasio’s national Fairness PAC.

Hizzoner has said he’s launched the PAC to support progressive candidates in state and national elections and to pay travel expenses on the stump for him and his wife, Chirlane McCray.

City Hall officials declined to comment.
