GA-Gov (R)/TX-Gov (D): We still have two statewide primaries that remain uncalled.
In the Peach State, on the GOP side, it is still not clear who will face Stacey Abrams in November, but there is a definite betting favorite at this point. With 29 percent of precincts counted, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle leads with 40 percent of the vote, with Sec. of State Brian Kemp a fairly distant second at 26 percent.
Meanwhile, in Texas, the battle to face GOP Gov. Greg Abbott is still crazy close. Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez still leads gubernatorial progeny Andrew White (son of former Gov. Mark White) by a 52-48 margin with a little over a quarter of the vote in.
