Norton Rose poaches two partners for Perth office

Law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is set to boost its presence in Perth with the hire of two new partners.

Norton Rose has poached Paul Lingard, who was Clifford Chance's Perth office managing partner, and Herbert Smith Freehills' projects team member Miriam D'Souza.

The pair is expected to boost Norton Rose's energy, resources and infrastructure coverage and join later this year.

Lingard was global mining co-head at Clifford Chance and advised the likes of South32, Fortescue Metals Group and BHP Billiton.

D'Souza was an executive counsel at HSF and specialises in large public and private sector infrastructure projects.
