Big Four Japanese firm Mori Hamada & Matsumoto has hired a four-lawyer corporate and finance team in Bangkok from Clifford Chance, which announced its exit from Thailand earlier this year.
Project finance partner Joseph Tisuthiwongse leads the team, which also includes M&A associates Siregran Sakuliampaiboon and Teerin Vanikieti, and banking associate Disaporn Saengpetch. Tisuthiwongse, a U.S. lawyer, starts on Jan. 1, while the associates, all qualified Thai lawyers, will start by March 2018.
