Seven West Media is alleging former executive assistant Amber Harrison is in contempt of court for breaching an order preventing her from talking about the free-to-air broadcaster.

A directions hearing is listed for December 18 in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

It is nearly a year to the date since Ms Harrison went public about her consensual affair with Seven chief executive Tim Worner and an array of allegations resulting from the end of that relationship and her exit from the company.

When the affair began, Ms Harrison, then 35, was the executive assistant to Nick Chan, the then chief executive of Seven's magazine division of Pacific Magazines.

Ms Harrison left Seven in 2014 after signing deeds for a series of payments, in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, as long as she did not speak publicly about the affair, Seven and that she hand over all records and electronic devices.

Seven stopped making the payments after Ms Harrison did not comply, the company told the Supreme Court in July.

In July, the court permanently banned Ms Harrison from speaking publicly about Seven or any of its employees.

However, Ms Harrison has been an active Twitter use, including making comments regarding Seven's board after ABC's 7:30 Report reported the firing of Seven cadet journalist Amy Taeuber, and comments made to News Corp's The Australian.
