Two partners join Lander & Rogers

The new partners leave their old firm ahead of a merger

Two partners join Lander & Rogers
Lander & Rogers is set to gain two new partners later this month.

The firm has confirmed it has appointed partners Tony Woods and Stephen Jauncey, whose official start dates with the firm are “likely to be within the month.”

The two partners join from Henry Davis York (HDY), which is merging with Norton Rose Fulbright on 1 December. They will be joining Landers’ workplace relations and safety practice.

Woods has more than 30 years of experience in workplace relations and safety law. He has particular focus on working with public-sector clients, particularly as a trusted advisor to New South Wales government clients. He was previously a chair of the New South Wales Law Society Employment Law Committee.

Jauncey’s workplace relations and safety practice has a particular focus on the retail and government sectors. He has extensive experience working for large businesses and government agencies.

“Their involvement with the NSW government and understanding of the operating environment of public-sector agencies will be incredibly valuable as part of our client offering, enhancing the depth of the team's capability to service the government sector, which is a key focus for the firm,” said partner Daniel Proietto, who heads the firm’s workplace relations and safety practice.

Andrew Willder, chief executive partner, said the appointments continue to grow Landers’ Sydney office.
