Around 200 former staff from the collapsed European arm of King & Wood Mallesons could receive up to around £4000 after a 'technical breach' of redundancy conditions. The staff alleged that the firm had failed to enter into a formal consultation process before making redundancies and had made an employment tribunal claim. KWM’s administrator Quantuma said that the consultation had ended early due to the firm entering administration and as a result, a 'technical breach' in respect of the required duration for the consultation process.
